The first ascent of Mount Everest back in 1953 set the trend of trekking and climbing the himalayas: most people travel to Nepal (or know Nepal) for this reason. However in more recent years, the beautiful country has been recognised by people as Asia’s spiritual hub.
Being the birthplace of Buddha, home of the Maya Devi Temple (the Buddhist pilgrimage site) and many Hindu shrines it is no surprise that Nepal and her people are known for good vibrations, glowing souls and an overall deep spiritual understanding, both of themselves and their stunning, untouched/underdeveloped surroundings.
Totally being blessed with a chance to go to this (seemingly) magical place. Can’t wait to share my journey with you guys when I’m back in 2 weeks 🙂
